Words on Warren is a warm, 1,500-square-foot independent children's bookstore at 52 Warren Street in Tribeca, opened in fall 2025 by local mom and Tribeca resident Jean Su Maeng. The shop carries a thoughtfully curated selection of picture books, chapter books, and young adult titles, plus a dedicated adult section of parenting books and gifts.
The space — designed around the concept of 'a hideaway at grandma's house' — features cozy reading nooks, tiny chairs and benches where families linger, and a working vintage typewriter kids love. Programming includes storytime, literacy and writing classes, book clubs, author signings, parenting talks, and Magic the Gathering nights for older kids. Classes run in the mornings; retail hours are afternoons.
