Weill Cornell Expectant Parent Education and Wellness Program

Weill Cornell Medicine's OB/GYN department offers the Expectant Parent Education and Wellness Program, providing virtual Zoom-based classes on childbirth preparation and newborn care. Classes are taught by certified childbirth educators who also work as nurses at the hospital, and class sizes are kept small to facilitate better learning and more personalized instruction.

The program serves expectant parents delivering at NYP Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns and NYP Lower Manhattan Hospital. Offerings span from early pregnancy through the postpartum period, covering topics including labor and delivery, newborn care, and prenatal wellness. Free virtual physician-led forums on common pregnancy topics are also available, with recordings accessible through an on-demand library.
