Talent Unlimited High School

Talent Unlimited High School (TUHS) is a public performing arts high school housed within the Julia Richman Education Complex on Manhattan's Upper East Side. It offers audition-based programs in five disciplines — Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Musical Theater, Drama, and Dance (Ballet and Modern) — alongside a full liberal arts curriculum.

As a CTE (Career and Technical Education) school, students take three performance classes and four liberal arts classes each year, earning professional certification weight alongside academic coursework. Advanced offerings include AP Music Theory, AP Statistics, AP Seminar, and College Now courses through a partnership with Hunter College.

TUHS maintains deep ties to the professional arts world through partnerships with organizations including the Metropolitan Opera, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Paul Taylor Dance, Martha Graham Dance Center, and the Broadway League. Work-Based Learning Internships with these organizations are available to students. Admission is by audition and is considered more accessible than LaGuardia High School, making it a strong option for talented, motivated students ready for a serious performing arts education.
