Sloomoo Institute is often called the 'slime museum,' and that's exactly what it is — except more immersive, more sensory, and more genuinely fun than that label suggests. Set across a sprawling 8,000-square-foot SoHo space, the experience takes families through vats of slime in every texture imaginable, a slingshot station, a glow-in-the-dark cove, interactive slime mirrors, and Lake Sloomoo (where you walk over 350 gallons of slime).

Every general admission ticket includes a fully custom slime made at the world's largest DIY slime bar — with 8 textures, 60 scents, 40 colors, and 120 charms on offer. For the adventurous, the enhanced ticket gets you slimed at Sloomoo Falls, where slime rains down from above (ponchos provided). Sensory-friendly hours run on select dates for sound-sensitive guests.

Timed-entry tickets start at $25 and must be booked in advance. All guests ages 1 and up require a ticket, and children under 14 must be accompanied by a guardian aged 16 or older. Plan to wear clothes you don't mind getting messy — and set expectations with kids before you go, because the experience exits through the slime store.
