Shoott is a pay-per-photo photography platform that connects families with vetted local photographers across New York City — with no session fee and no obligation to buy. You book a free 30-minute outdoor session, show up, and receive a private digital gallery of 40+ lightly edited photos within 3–5 business days. Then you pay only for the ones you love, starting at $25 per photo.
In NYC, Shoott operates at 30+ pre-scouted outdoor locations across the boroughs — think SoHo streetscapes, Central Park greenery, waterfront spots, and more — as well as at least one indoor studio option in Midtown Manhattan. Specific dates and slots are listed on the Shoott website and fill up, so booking ahead is recommended.
Pricing: $25/photo; $199 for 10 photos (includes $20 retouching credit); $299 for full gallery of 40+ photos (includes $40 retouching credit). No minimum purchase required on your first session. Shoott has completed 300,000+ sessions with a 4.9-star rating from 2,800+ Google reviews.
