Baby Social is a free class held inside Discovery Programs' spacious gymnasium at 251 West 100th Street on the Upper West Side. Babies explore developmentally appropriate sensory materials, manipulatives, and toys while caregivers accompany them throughout the session.
Song and storytime round out each class, promoting brain development, imagination, language, and emotional growth. Baby Social is explicitly designed as much for parents as for babies — it's a welcoming space for new parents to meet one another, swap stories, and share advice on raising little ones. Discovery Programs has been a neighborhood institution for over 53 years.
