Queens Night Market

Flushing Meadows / Corona
Stroller-friendlyOutdoorFree admission

The Queens Night Market is one of New York City's most beloved seasonal destinations, held every Saturday evening from mid-April through October 31st in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, behind the New York Hall of Science. With over 100 independent vendors representing cuisines and cultures from more than 100 countries, it offers an unmatched food and cultural experience for families across all five boroughs and beyond.

Entry is completely free, and a strictly enforced price cap of $5–$6 per item means a family can sample dumplings, empanadas, churros, Indian street food, crepes, and dozens of other dishes without breaking the bank. The wide-lane outdoor layout gives kids room to roam, and the earliest hours (4–6 PM) are noticeably calmer — ideal for families with strollers or young children before the evening crowd peaks around 20,000 visitors.

Beyond food, the market features live cultural performances, art and merchandise vendors, and special themed events throughout the season including Kid Entrepreneur Day and a beloved Halloween closing night with trick-or-treating and a costume contest for kids. Named the #9 best restaurant in New York City by The New York Times in 2023, Queens Night Market has become a true cultural institution since its founding in 2015. Note: the market takes a break during the US Open (approximately late August through mid-September) — check the official website for exact dates each year.
