PlayWell Brooklyn is an inclusive sensory gym in Gowanus, Brooklyn, founded by two pediatric occupational therapists who wanted to create a space where kids of all abilities can play together. The thoughtfully designed environment features accessible equipment and sensory-friendly features throughout, making it welcoming for both neurodivergent and neurotypical children ages 0–11.
The gym is equipped with a variety of swings, a zipline, crash pads, soft play mats, climbing structures, sensory play areas, art supplies, and fine motor toys. PlayWell offers drop-in open play sessions, dedicated early morning sessions for toddlers ages 0–3 on weekends, movement and tumbling classes, art classes, Sensory Wonder Playgroups, and birthday party services. A parent or caregiver must be present at all times, and socks are required inside.
