Luna Park offers discounted rates any day with unlimited rides, thrilling attractions, and special group pricing for 20 or more. That threshold is easy to hit with a class or camp group. Luna Park has a DOE vendor ID available upon request, which matters if you're booking through a public school. Food packages are available, ranging from fully-catered options to summertime snacks, and beverage packages are also offered. With nearly 3 miles of sandy beaches, courts for beach volleyball, handball, and basketball, as well as playgrounds, the beach and boardwalk can provide hours of entertainment on their own — and beach entry is free. During beach season, lifeguards are on duty daily from 10am to 6pm.
The subway is the easiest way in: take the D, F, N, or Q train to Coney Island–Stillwell Avenue. Buses B36, B64, B68, B74, and B82 also serve the area. Luna Park's operating season runs April through October — always check the park calendar at lunaparknyc.com before finalizing your date. Coney Island Beach is an accessible beach, with beach mats and beach wheelchairs available by reservation.
