Complete Playground

Complete Playground is a nonprofit indoor play space in the Financial District, designed from the ground up to welcome kids of all abilities — neurotypical and neurodiverse alike. Founded by FiDi resident Alex Reznik after his son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2018, the space blends giant physical play structures with sensory-friendly programming and quiet retreat spaces. At over 40,000 square feet across three floors, it's one of the largest indoor playgrounds in New York City.

The main draw is a massive multi-level jungle gym and obstacle course packed with slides, swings, rings, ladders, nets, and tunnels. Beyond that, kids can explore a pretend city (hospital, supermarket, garage), a Lego room, holographic sand pits, interactive trampolines, a gymnastics area, a rock-climbing wall, and movement-based technology zones. Toddlers have their own soft, padded area separate from the older-kid action.

For families with sensory needs, the highlight is a dedicated Snoezelen sensory room — a calm, low-clutter space with soft seating, a vibrating relaxation chair, a tactile wall panel, a bubble tube, and specialized lighting. Sensory hours are offered early in the day with lower noise levels and fewer kids. Loaner headphones are available at the front desk. The on-site Complete Café accommodates special dietary needs including gluten-free and dairy-free options, and accepts reservations so families can maintain mealtime routines.

Open play runs in timed 2-hour sessions; memberships offer unlimited access. Birthday parties, classes (karate, gymnastics, dance, art), and occupational, speech, and sensory therapy are also offered on-site.
