The Bronx Children's Museum is the borough's first dedicated children's museum, housed in a 12,800-square-foot space on the second floor of the historic Powerhouse Building at the north end of Mill Pond Park, steps from Yankee Stadium. Exhibits are STEAM-based, hands-on, and rooted in Bronx culture and heritage, designed specifically for babies, toddlers, and children through 4th grade.

The museum is especially well-regarded for its sensory-friendly programming. Every first Saturday of the month, Sensory Saturdays feature dimmed lights, lowered sound levels, and reduced visitor numbers to accommodate guests with sensory sensitivities. Sensory backpacks are available at the Welcome Desk. Recurring events include Around the World Day every second Saturday, celebrating foods, fashion, and music from different cultures.

Timed-entry sessions are offered Tuesday through Saturday. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended, and the museum enforces a minimum ratio of one adult per three children. Diaper changing stations are available in all restrooms. The museum is easily accessible by subway (2/4/5 trains) or Metro-North Hudson Line to the Yankees–East 153rd Street station.
