Broadway Babysitters is a vetted childcare agency connecting NYC families with professional artists — actors, dancers, singers, stage managers, directors, and more — who bring creativity and skill to every sitting session. Co-founded by Broadway performers Vasthy Mompoint and Jennifer Malenke, the agency was born out of a need for reliable, high-quality childcare within the performing arts community.
All sitters are referral-only, CPR-certified, vaccinated, and background-checked. Many offer creative lesson add-ons in voice, dance, acting, piano, yoga, and more. The agency also includes staff trained to provide in-home care for children with special needs. Families sign up through the online platform, select a membership tier, and can self-book or use a concierge service. Sitters travel to families' homes across all five NYC boroughs, lower Westchester, and public-transit-accessible parts of New Jersey.
